Getting Away With Murder(s) (15) + Q & A
Director: David Wilkinson
Starring: Julian Glover (Voice), Eileen Atkins (Voice)
Reality Documentary UK 2021
2 hrs 55 mins
Almost 1 million people in 22 countries carried out the unprovoked murder of 11 million innocent men, women and children. 99% of those responsible were never prosecuted; most were never even questioned. Despite the extensive cinema documentary coverage of the Holocaust to date, not one has explored in any depth the almost total lack of justice, towards the vast numbers of guilty perpetrators who simply walked away — untouched by justice. This film addresses this glaring omission. In David Wilkinson’s meticulously researched documentary “Getting Away With Murders”, he tries to find out exactly how and why so many war criminals went unpunished. This film may be unsettling to watch and will undoubtedly question the Allied High Command’s failings in carrying out their duty towards the deceased.
